Teletext not working:-(

    I've noticed on my terrestrial aerial this weekend as follows.

    RTE 1 perfect picture and teletext.
    RTE 2 slightly blurred picture and no teletext.
    TV3 perfect picture, text comes up but you cannot select pages.

    By the way, RTE 2 text works ok on satellite but TV3 text has the same problem on both sat and Terr.

    Anyone shed any light or experiencing similar probs. I'm taking signal from Woodcock Hill:mad:

    threetext works fine here, from Holywell.

    Maybe there's work going on at Woodcock? I can't remember the Aertel page for RTE Technical info.

    RTÉ Engineering Info on Aertel....

    No info there for your location, though.

    The work at Woodcock should be finished over a week ago. I'm currently in Dundalk so unless I get them at home to stream RTE2, I can't comment. I suppose I could ask them to describe the picture quality. But it was fine on Sunday.

    Latest is that , RTE2 is ok now. Picture perfect, telextext working.

    TV3 still the same. i.e. picture fine, text comes up as if its ok, but you cannot select a page!!

    Ah well ,cant expect much from TV3 I suppose...

    Do you have another TV that has teletext? Asked a neighbour?

    Yes, my second TV does exactly the same thing.. Text comes on, and settles on the main page, but you cannot select any other pages. I must stress though that the same thing happens with TV3 on satellite... a mystery?
