Well we're clearly talking mainstream(ish) here so...

I'm fairly suprised Zdarlight -Digitalism hasn't been bigger, especially since they're playing oxegen. Maybe it'll get some more air time in clubs?

Pharell Williams hasn't produced anything amazing in a while, so in terms of R'n'B expect something produced by him and maybe from the likes of Kanye West/Common.

Justice Vs. Simian - We are your friends is definitely the big summer song so far - minimalist electro-malarky in the vein of Tiga and such, very damn catchy.

Hot Chip - Over and Over - Great BBQ music, bitleft of centre but fresh and is getting commercial airplay.

As for Gnarls Barkley? I'm going to be so thouroughly sick of him by Electric Picnic...

quality tune alright, i think that was more last year though (unless it's getting a new lease of life ala justice vs simian)

and yeah, i'm well sick of Gnarls Barkley already. there weren't really any other standout tracks on the album, so i'd say i'll give them/him a miss at EP.
could be an interesting show though...

I belive the Klaxons are (going to be) big, its very dancy/rocky stuff. Some of the remixes are dancefloor destroyers, especially the nightmoves mix, and of course the Erol mix is nasty too.

The rapture are back also, they should have a few tracks up their sleeves.

"Sebastian - Ross Ross Ross" is gonna be big too, from Edbanger records, á la justice etc.

Simians mobile disco are quality, "Hustler" is an animal track.

    S.

Jonny68- World Hold On. - Surely its already a massive hit?

Frosty- I hate Nelly Furtado that axe faced b1tch. But yeah its a well catchy tune.

Justice Vs. Simian - We are your friends- yeah its a great tune IMO.

    You cats might like:

Martijn Te Velden - "I wish I could"
Its got that hint of 80s but very fresh and energetic. Very catchy chorus, which you dont hear until 3:30, but its worth the wait.

Right now Im also lovin Trick And Kubic - "Easy" It breaks down into this really aggressive disco bassline, thriller stylee. Well worth a sniff.

That tune from the new Citroen ad [with the car going ice-skating] is a remix of The Egg- "Walking Away" incase anyones wondering.
Its been out ages but its prolly gonna sell more. Just like that LRD tune, which got new llife thanks to the first transformer citroen ad.

Also keep an eye out for The Loose Cannons. Think Scissor Sisters meets Price.

    :)

This threads going well so far. Yay.
