    Yes it is official in case you haven't heard. a new expansion.

    Necrons and Tao to be the new races.

    no new troop types though.

    SO do you think this will reinvigorate the game?

    im looking forward to the WW2 game more than the expansion.
    but it will be nice to have more options. all thats left after that is Dark eldar and tyranids.

    Tyranids shoulda got the shout above Necrons. From what I remember of the tabletop game very few people played Necrons. (Though I haven't played the actual TT game in like 5 years)

    The Tau have already been covered in a mod,which features everything excellently done except Kroot,The Necrons where from what I saw and heard the most unpopular of the 40K armies.They should have done the tryanids and maybe given more units to the other races!The Tau mod is so good,I recommend ayone to give it a go!it has proper buildings,models ect A pity for them,The necrons little appearance in Winter Assault was not great and lacked big time,I find it hard to see them as a full playable army which is fun! Hope Relic and THQ do a great job of it but my hopes are not so high for it!

    It has been stated that Tyrannids will not feature as a playable army in any DoW. Apperently the current engine is not suitable for it.

    A pity but ya knows. What can one do?
