D4 are crying into their pints of Heino. French team don't travel well and Cardiff will be essentially be a home game with the Red Army in attendance. Go Munster!

Outstanding performance for Munster, did you even doubt it??? Made even sweeter for me that my brother in law is a Stade Toulouse supporter. :)

Altogether now: Low Lie the FIELDS OF ATHENRY....

Excellent game. Thought Leinster had a try in them towards the end. Poor Contepomi any other game he could have borked except for this one and he borked it big style. D4 heads can cry all they bloody like,part-time supporters:rolleyes:

I reckon if Munster play anything like they played today they could find themselves in trouble in Cardiff. Yachvilli will take kicks all day long from inside the opponents half and munster gave away a lot of penalties today that leinster just didnt take.

Fair dues Munster, what a way to win. ROG was unreal and i reckon deserved man of the match over POC.

    Nuke

Yes that's right, with Leinster having higher attendance numbers this year than Munsterin both Celtic League & H'ken Cup. And also, how many were there for Munster v. Borders? Don't try and say a thing about Leinster being "part-time supporters"

Munster were good, Leinster were useless. The only thing that munster need to do is to convert possession into points, they are too 1 dimensional. The dominated the territory and possession for 60 mins but were still only 13 points clear. If Leinster could get that kind of domination they would beat anyone.

Chokers thats what I'd call Leinster... I heard one gombeen shout from the crowd that munster were boring, was he so proven wrong. And as for that Brendon Cole idiot off RTE predicting a Leinster win by 10...

<CHANT> Munster Munster Munster Munster Munster Munster Munster Munster....... <CHANT>

Fab game of rugby, the defining moment for me was in the second half when we came close to scoring a try, the pressure on the leinster forwards was emmense, the ball must have went for a line out 3/4 time. eventually leinster cleared the lines but after that I knew there was no goin back. Munster showed their prowse today, kicking the ladyboys rite into touch.

To the brave and faithful, nothing is impossible.

Come on wake up and smell the Coffee, I wouldnt even call Leinster Supporters, not to Mind part time, did you even look at those tv screens today... There was only one bunch of supporters there(With Heart and Passion) and they were the ones wearing red, The People who Knew why they were there and what colour there team are.....:D

ONE HEINO PLEASE, or maybe a HOARP

Speaking as a Northside dubliner, would you all stop referring to leinster as D4 heads and all that sh*te.

Having said that it was embarassing to see so few wearing the blue or white of Leinster compared to the sea of red that was the Munster support

If Contemponi had turned up on the day, I honestly believe we would have won it, how many times did we stop you from going over in the second half ?? and if all wasn't lost you wouldn't have got that soft try of ROG's !

Still, at least I'll get to go back to Lansdowne to see Clontarf lift the AIL cup, Munster may have the provincial side but we've got the best club side in the country :p

Jaysus relax was only messing.Thought the pre-show was fecking hilarious where they found the funniest fans from both sides "munster by grace of god" indeed robbing that from the Cork Hurlers

    And caus im a loser:rolleyes:
Munster average attendance at home is higher than Leinster in the CL at 6,189 and Leinster has 5,768
Totals (Munster 9 games 55,700 and Leintser 10 Games 57,683)

Do ya reckon if munster had a bigger stadium they would fill it?.....some food for thought...........;)

First, congrats to the Munster team. Leinster could have brought the match to them, but they didn't so Munster go through deserved victors.

The ol' critcism of the Leinster supporter here is a bit less then gracious and very child-like though. There's an entirely different ethos behind Leinster supporters - we are not Munster fans, so why do some people expect us to behave like them? So what if some Leinster supporters are twats, toffs and assorted 'others' that we all like to brand the 'D.4.' type....there's far more then just these people who support Leinster. Are Munster fans telling us that someone from Limerick is a-typical of someone from Cork?

And no, we don't all wear the same clothes.

One way I look at the whole 'uniform for supporters' thing is this:

I attend home CL matches and the home HC matches – I don’t think it’s much of a choice between attending THREE CL matches or buying one Jersey at €75 odd euros that has the distictive Leinster look. I’ll keep my dark navy blue rugby shirt that cost me €15 and go to the matches…guess the label on my shirt makes me a ‘part-time’ fan...

EDIT: removed the words 'Stab City' and 'Second City' because I didn't realise anyone took the terms seriously enough to take offence. Kind of undermined my whole point.

    stab city

no need to resort to slagging citys the term stab city is a stigmatization that only exists due to narrow minded people like psicic consitent reuse of the phrase......

staarted the thread to congradulate munster not start a slagging match cant u be happy that there is an irish team in the final rather tahn getting into disputes re supporters/attendance numbers

    just shameful:mad:  :p

Better team won on the day. It's now vital for ALL Irish supporters, including this one from D4, that Munster go on and do the biz in Cardiff against Biarritz. Especially in the light of the sabre rattling that has been going on in the political battle for how the competition will be organised in the future.

Biarritz's Serge Blanco has been very vocal about how much the French and English dominate the whole thing and should be rewarded with more dosh.

I think Munster will struggle, tbh. They have already produced two big performances this season, v Sale and yesterday. they didn't play too well to beat Perpignan. With the likes of Traille, Brusque and Yachvili behind the Biarritz scrum and the likes of Betsen, Lievremont and Harinordoquy in it, Munster will have to be on the top of their game to make a dent in the Basques.

Hope you do it. Good luck. You'll need it.

Twice less than we stopped ye from going over. ;)

Great game. I was shocked at how many people had written off Munster so easily. Hope they do the same for the final though.

One team wanted to win that game a whole lot more. Munster's game was furious and focused. Leinster's heads seem to go down almost from Mal's first knock on in the first minute.

Best of luck to the lads in the final!

    I'm with Snickers,

It's vital that an Irish team wins just to shut up Blanco and co!

I just hope that Munster do the business and don't bottle it like they did the last two finals.
