Yeah, Dana was on some radio show in Sacramento and said and spilled the beans.

It's a shame we won't be seeing Shammy Vs Tito again but hey, good of Griffin to step up and take the fight.

Another big pay day for him me thinks.

If i was Dana i would really worry when Griffin's fight contract runs out. Question his fight skills but you can't question his heart, his personality or his popularity.

If he can keep it up then the UFC will be paying good money to keep him.

Why are people questioning griffins fight skills. He outboxed Tito for the most part, held parity in the clinch when Tito closed the distance, and apart from not coming out for the first round, he avoided the takedown for most of the fight with good sprawls.

What I see in Griffin: A good all rounder, no particular stand out area but good stand-up, good clinch, and good ground.

What I see in most other UFC fighters: Good or excellent in one or two areas, deficient in others.

I completely agree with you. I think Griffin is a great all round fighter and i think he has huge potential to be a future great because whatever anyone wants to say the difference between winners and losers is winners will do what losers won't. And Griffin will put in the time and the effort to improve with each fight.

BUT a lot of people DO question his skills, his strikes can appear just a little sloppy sometimes, and this seems to be enough to make people question him.

A lot of the net haters forgot about Griffin's record before TUF, he beat Monsoon and pushed Horn to the limits, and he survived that arm break and came back to knock the guy out with the other hand which is just a LEGEND story at the end of the day.

The simple fact is that casual MMA fans have short memories, to them the likes of Wandy and Fedor will always be indestructable and always have been , they forget that the greats need to go through wars and lose and still look like winners before anyone will call them great.
