    i would seriously doubt it, if anything their numbers have probably increased over the past few years. no facts to back that up, its just ive seen them more often

    I'd suspect not, they have succesfully adapted to an urban environment. They may be much rarer in the countryside than they used to be, but they flourish in cities. It is estimated that in a british city, you are on average never more than 5 metres from fox.* I'd imagine that it's pretty similar in Ireland.


    *And never more than one metre from a rat.

    plenty of foxes around the place they dont have any natural predators really so the only thing that keeps the numbers down is us humans who get rid of 100's of them every year
