Conservatory blinds

Have a problem with some blinds which cover roof of conservatory. In place for at least 8 years. Attached to wires through round wire held with cable ties which are attached to blind, which have started to break. This has resulted in blinds hanging down from roof.

Would have to pay 150 plus to get rehung. Would like to give it a go myself. Wondering is there anything better than cable ties to hold in place, as presumably these will break again in the future. Heat seems to harden them and cause them to crack and break.

    Thanks
