    Hi all,

I'm booking my around the world flights in June/July(leaving it late if I can)
The flights are approx €2400 at the mo (2000 flight and tax approx 400)

With the problem of rising oil rates, would I be better to book the tickets now as the tickets havent been hit with a fuel surcharge

Those anybody have any experience with the last hike in oil rate - did the tickets go up by much??

    Thanks in advance

Aer Lingus has introduced its first fuel surcharge that will apply to all Tickets booked after May 15th. I think British Airways added something like GB£25 per one-way flight on long-haul last year. Aer Lingus are starting to decay already and they are only in the process of Privatisation.

And what does that have to do with the rising cost of jet fuel (something that is somewhat outside Aer Lingus' contral - privatised or not).
