Right... seems to be more and more of these shorts-wearing people on the trains these mornings. You know the ones... Fold up bicycles and tight shorts and big yellow jackets.....

    My questions are thus....

    1. Are they wearin underwear...? My train in the morning is goddamn jamed and want to know whether to avoid them...

    2. What do they think they look like?

    3. What to they do when they get to work....? Do they get changed?

    4. Whats wrong wit a normal pair of shorts on over them... like sports people?

Are you one of these people? Can you answer my questions?

Maybe they are delivering big packets to Fasttrack or something.

Whats the deal about the underwear..... is the auld teapot kinda thrown up in sharp relief or what??

Don't use the train mesell but I suppose a full snagger with sprouts could turn one off for the day....just deal with it .

Either I'm really tired, or you're making no sense.

Just ask one of them your list of questions. That could be good actually:

Archytas - "Sir, you do realise you look like a tool, right?"
Person in bicycle shorts - "Uh..."

Proper cycling shorts (like these- http://tinyurl.com/pnxe4) incorporate a chamois pad, and are traditionally and correctly worn 'commando'.

Who knows what your fellow commuters are doing, but I'd suspect at least some of them are cycling 'al fresco'. :D

...correct. Plus with the addition of baby oil for lubrication purposes, it makes for a very gratifying experience... er... I've said too much :D

Whats the bets the OP is male, questioning male cyclists, bet he would love it if the train was full of women in those shorts.

WTF does it matter if they're wearing underwear or not? Could be plenty of people in jeans, trousers, skirts, whatever, wearing nothing underneath and you'd never know...if they start getting too close for comfort as it were, then it's not going to matter whether there's one layer of clothing or two, is it?
