Two litres a day is the recommended amount. Maybe more if your doing serious workouts. Supposedly, eating fruit helps retain water as well.

Do you use a filter for your water? i find drinking filtered water much nicer and refreshing than just normal water, if you dont i recommend buying one :)
trust me its much nicer and easier to drink than tap water. I wouldnt recommend flavourings as they are just sugar.....

As for weight lifting, i started when i was 16 and to be honest i dont think their would be a problem starting it yourself now at this age but if you do want to do it id find someone who knows alot about lifting weights and show you how to lift properly, you say you 5'8 - 5'9, and if you dont lift properly you could stay that height but if you lift properly you shouldnt have any problems.

You should educate yourself about lifting also before you get into it, you can get plenty of information on this forum and also from bodybuilding.com ( and other peeps here will tell ya some other sites ). Knowledge is the greatest key in lifting, if you dont know anything yourself your going to start off wrongly which happened to me unfortunetly and i educated myself and iv become a better lifter because of it.

Hows your diet? your going to have eat like a bear like you should be doing as a teenager if you want to lift also, post it up and many many people here can give you lots of advice on what to eat, when etc etc.

    Good Luck,

    Cravez

Not so bad. I get tescos high % blackcurrant, I think it is 35% juice, then sugar and citric acid. I only put a small dash in. I think the benefits of being able to palate more water in the day outweigh the tiny amounts of processed sugar I take in.
