Well yesterday when i logged on to someone elses profile on my computer this programme came up that i have never seen before it said critical error and virus detected, at the same time norton 2006 came up saying warning and it ran a scan and deleted something.
Well that didnt get rid of something the computer is clearly infected and it seems to be by some anti spyware company coz it brings me to their antispyware website every time asking me to buy their software..

I know where one of the files is but i cant delete it, i ran norton full scan it deleted a trojan.zlob from system32, i also ran a windows defender scan and an adware se scan but i still have spyware and popups.

    Anyone have any advice?

Try downloading spybot from www.download.com and give it a scan with that...

theres another spyware program called bazooka, what that does is scan ur computer and tells u the possible threats... print off the results, start up your comp in safe mode and then go into the registry and go through the files it tells you to look for and delete...

Once your problem is fixed, you might also consider Spyware Blaster (free), that blocks many of the malware sites.

Thanks a mil guys here is the gjt logfile

Btw i found this forum on the net when i googled it and some guys had the same symptoms as i did and someone posted up a cmd programme called smitrem which is designed to remove spyaxe and some of his budies and i think it got rid of most of it(popups etc) however there is still an annoying icon in the taskbar warning me of a virus alert and i think its related to spyquake or something along those lines........

    Hi,
Please open HJT, click Do a system scan only, and then place a checkmark beside each of these entries and fix:

    R3 - URLSearchHook: ScriptInocUI Class - - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {8d83b16e-0de1-452b-ac52-96ec0b34aa4b} - (no file)
    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {C4069E3A-68F1-403E-B40E-20066696354B} - (no file)

Try download this utility...there are good reports on it...Cureit from DrWeb

    then try Ewido

    post another HJT log after.
    regards
