Ok people, I've updated the site with some stuff from the Investigation on Saturday. I've also done up a quick mailing list for when i update the site and when i finish the Mag (which isnt far off now, dispite set backs).

Anyone want to be added to the mailing list just let me know.

btw the site plugs Boards.ie every chance i get so i hope no one minds me posting this here. And if anyone wants to put an advert for anything on the site or links just let me know.

What are those creaking sounds on the glass movie in the Hellfire Club. :eek:

The glass movie is in Charleville and as for wha tteh sounds are i dont know. They are on the original recording (found the tape Zillah) but to me its sounds like a door closing. Weird but very possibly justa audio fault on the tape.

Just out of interest is this site fast enough for people or does anyone have any input as to what its lacking?

I'm telling you, maybe its just the way my sound system is set up, but the sounds are crystal clear to me, they're "street sounds", as if a mic was left recording on a street in dublin, theres cars and everything.

the sound is perfect to me too but because i cant say for certian what it is i generally dismiss it.

Next time maybe use a ouijaboard? I am too scared to try one but brave souls such as yerselves are surely braver men and women? Can't wait to see translucent ghouls flying around the room.

ND I can say for certain that ouija boards are not something that most paranormal investigators or enthusiasts use. Many see them as nothing more than a toy and others see them as dangerous.

I am not against people using them at all and have concidered it in the past. I just know its not for me. I wouldnt benefit from using one as to me spirits are a fact and I see no point taking risks with potential dangerous tool when I can put time and effort into my own development and get very good results.

As i said I am not agaianst them which is pretty obvious from the fact I have designed a A3 sized one which will be available to download from my site in the next couple of weeks.

Sounds like nonesense really. What could the basis possibly be, unless you subscribe to a very specific occultic format. Sounds like some white witches decided they didn't like the reputation the Ouija board had, slapped a white cloud theme on the box and called it an angel board...

To be honest guys talking boards have been around for a long time before Ouija boards, as you know Zillah. Brands of boards stating that only one type of spirit will be channelled by them is nonsence. There are as many types and personalities of spirits as there are people show shades of grey exist on all plans. Personally i dont believe in Good & Evil in the traditions sense. Of course who's to say Ouija boards even work at all?

Could you add EVP recordings of your own to it when you start using EVP if you are going to? Also maybe place webcams in alleged haunted houses for users to click on?

I will put up EVP but as for webcams, though I find them fun to look at i dont think any of the places I've been or plan to go to will have them. Charleville has a family living there, Ross Castle is a guesthouse and I have been to (and hope to visit more) people's homes and i'm sure they dont want strangers looking at them, especially seeing as most dont tell other people they have a problem in the first place.

Looked at the glass tipping vid last night. Like Zillah says they're mainly street noises, there's clearly buses/trucks, people talking and I think even a bicycle at one point. There are two load creaking noises at different points though which seem seperate to both the street soundtrack and the glass-tipping soundtrack.

I think it's quite clear that your website is in fact haunted



(speeds are very good by the way)



edit: Could the creaking sounds possibly be squeeling bus/truck brakes which either due to the microphone on the camera or some issue with digitisation/compression ended up sounding like a creaking door ?

6, you have probably left your camera running when it was in the bag and only written the audio, there seems to be two layers of sound - one outside on a street with buses and bicycles and one inside a large room with a squeaky door. What type of camera do you have and what type of tape does it record on?

Was filmed on a Sony TRV14E Handycam on mini Dv tapes. As you may know this type of camera can not record sound independantly of image.

Again I must stress I am not claiming this is any type of EVP. The glass tipping (for anyone who was there) was good enough for me.

No noises where heard from what i remember but everyone was there so if anyone remembers differently? I plan on uploading alot more clips this time and maybe even a walk around of teh castle to give those who havent been there an idea of the place.

For now its just some new stories and a new video of automatic writing from Charleville Castle.

I shot the clip of the glass tipping and I think I made a mistake when saving it for web and it somehow ended up with an audio track from somewhere else on it.

I know you taped it too but that was shot on my camcorder (of course i could be mental) anyway as i said i never thought it was paranormal but nice to have an explaination

The 6thsensitive site is showing up the pictures etc now, by the way picture to the side very cool. The spectralsightings site, is showing up the same little x in boxes where I imagine you were putting details or photos in. the whole thing seems to be coming along nicely though.
