Ok I am completely retardedly ignorant when it comes to clothes or shopping. I wear what I think looks nice and other people usually agree...

But anyway, I want to get my hands on a nice black suit-style jacket. I don't give a flying toss about brand names, but I am poverty stricken student, so how much am I likely to have to fork out and where should I go? Im not looking for a 300e armani here.

    Thanks :)

Most lads I know like Marks+Spencers for that type of thing. Decent quality, and reasonable prices. Maybe not as cool as Topman et al, but for something like a jacket where tailoring is important, M+S is your best bet imo.

Jack Jones do cheap blazers I think, that shops always a bit touch and go though.
Yeah you could give M&S a shot too.
