    Hey, so after getting PGR3 back from a friend after 5/6 weeks I got straight into trying to qualify for the tournament. Current time to get into top 64 in Europe is bout 53.64.... Has any hardass here managed it cos i'm nowhere near it... Nightmare, not made any easier by the fact that I'm a huge Ferrari fanboy and never used the Gallardo before.

    Thoughts anyone....

    I made the top 150 on monday morning and thought I was doing great until I logged in monday evening to discover that I'd slipped to 1500 and somethin' :( wish I was in japan the bar is sooooooo much lower.

    Still I have managed to take almost 2 seconds off my previous best time in the same class around that circuit since the comp opened :) shame it's not on the Nordschlief.

    so looks like I'll have to make do without a trip to Italy this year, I'll just have to make do with my trip to the european grand prix in a few weeks time :D

    This is impossible, tried a few times last night and even sub minute laps are tricky for me

    well, I'm in the 56's but I discovered that the trick is to use the brake as little as possible (give me a prize for stating the obvious), I only use it at turn 5 and the second last corner everything else is either flat out or easing off the throttle varying degrees.

    That first chicane (turn 1 & 2) can be taken flat out if you get the turn in point right, that shaved almost 2 seconds off my previous best lap which was in the Challenge Stradale!

    Cool I'll give this a shot so, I guess I just have to learn the track off a bit better and learn easing off points and breaking points for the 2 corners mentioned

    'cept your not allowed beat me :)

    The most difficult part of this for me is that there's no "ghost car" it's so much easier to learn the circuit if your always "racing" Your best or The best lap time. that's how I learned the Nordschleife!

    Well I'm still stuck in the 56's can't seem to beat that lap for now (having trouble matching it as well:(), anyone up for a few "training races" this evening ;)
