Since this is my 3000th post I might as well make it a useful one, as opposed to my regular drivel.

I want to know where you have traveled, and by traveled I mean for a lenghty spell. I'm not exactly talking one or two weeks on a sunny beach somewhere. I'm heading off to New Zealand soon enough, for about a year, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to want to travel more before I come back home to Ireland. So where have you been and how was/were your experience(s)? - Both good and bad! Was it expensive? How much money did you need? Was it hard to get a job there? What was the food like? Everything!

So far I'm considering going to Thailand, Fiji, Canada, and Alaska after New Zealand. If you have been to New Zealand, feel free to let me know how you got on there too.
