    i'm looking for a cheap runaround to take to the UK for the summer and leave there to use when i fly in......escort or fiesta would be favourite......the older the better, some T&T would be a huge advantage.....must be good enough to start reliably with infrequent use.....might consider another make if really cheap......(but dont tell anyone....)

    I saw a 95 mondeo on the echo pink ads for €150. Not old I know, but for nothing.

    Wouldn't you be better off buying a car in the UK (i.e. UK reg) ?

    thought you would have plenty of contacts from the uk forum to get you a nice clean ford??? even a nice old clean mk5 granada or something for £300??

    The following were on the echo:

    95 Mondeo TD - €150

    96 Mondeo 2.0 - €600

    90 Fiesta 75k - €250

    95 Escort - €550

    PMd phone numbers to the OP. I would have thought it would be easier to pick up a clean ford over though.
