    Sold a CD Burner to Dre as in Dray, which turned out to be a cigerette lighter[2]. he also gave a similar CD burner away in a competition.
    I bought a CD burner from Bubbles by post and he sent m a cigarett lighter and a note saying "This burns CDs realy well"


    LOL this guy sounds like a right chancer...

    I worked with this bloke and he was a gas cnut...good lad aswell...didnt know he was such a boards leg end....

    True the CD Burner was hilarious, but the time with the virus on IRC with IvaBigWun (kiera has the link above) and bubbles posted a link. IvaBigWun apparantly got a virus and started balling about it. Ah it was so funny, I really broke my ******s laughing, especially when he tried to blame seamus for telling him to click on the link. Classic! :D

    Perhaps his greatest feat was the Tomasso saga. Its not on the wiki, and it would not be suitable either. Poblachtach, I think by you posting this that its safe to say that you are Bubbles.

    Dunno what that is, but it reminds me of somethin my mother told me... She was talkin to someone in IT support who was telling her about someone he was on the phone to, who was complaining that he couldn't find where to put a disk, or somethin like that. Turns out the person thought that the CD tray was a cup holder :D

    Thats an urban myth AFAIK:

    [Collected on the Internet, 2000]

    True story from a Novell NetWire SysOp:

    Caller: "Hello, is this Tech Support?"

    Tech: "Yes, it is. How may I help you?"

    Caller: "The cup holder on my PC is broken and I am within my warranty period. How do I go about getting that fixed?"

    Tech: "I'm sorry, but did you say a 'cup holder'?"

    Caller: "Yes, it's attached to the front of my computer."

    Tech: "Please excuse me if I seem a bit stumped; it's because I am. Did you receive this as part of a promotion, like at a trade show? How did you get this cup holder? Does it have any trademark on it?"

    Caller: "It came with my computer, I don't know anything about a promotional. It just has '4X' on it."

    At this point the Tech Rep had to mute the caller, because he couldn't stand it. The caller had been using the load drawer of the CD-ROM drive as a cup holder, and snapped it off the drive!
