Why don't you organize one 6th? A Lennon seance that is! It would be a good experiment to write about too.

[rant]You have about as much chance of contacting John Lennon in a seance as I have of George Clooney ringing my doorbell right now holding a bottle of Bacardi. Sorry, I dont usually troll, but I think this type of thing is sensational tripe. What next, direct dial to John the Baptist? :( [/rant]

you're more than welcome to rant - i only posted it here bcause its suits the forum. To be honest no one can make a spirit come forward, its just lucky if one wants too.

Thats my point. And this is just a particular bugbear to me. The Diana one irritated the hell out of me too. Just gives the skeptics more ammunition. ...An occasional rant is good for the blood.;)

Have to agree with the troll ... er... I mean Katie on this one. I just can't picture 'celebrity' spirits hanging around waiting to be called up for TV specials. This reeks of marketing people going out and doing a survey to see who people would most like to see at a seance. This is what happens when marketing people get hold of the paranormal. Next they'll be trying to beam ads into the spirit world so we'll all buy their products after we reincarnate.

    Is this a fact

I dont know if anything in this area is a "fact" but its a commonly held belief that mediums who claim to be able to contact spirits on demand should be taken with a pinch of salt.

This is all my opinion nothing more.

Lennon: "What? Again? Don't you people have family crossed over you can be bothering?"

ok, but surely in this subject anything is possible right. For someone like yourself who has a big interest in the paranormal and produces a website, surely its a bit rich for you to be sceptical about other people and their claims

I dont make any wild claims on my site, its just a place for people with an interest in this area. I also didnt say that it was impossible to contact lennon, just that people should make up their own minds on it. I dont push my beliefs and anyone thats met me knows i take a nice casual stand on most things.

Though seeing as Lennon had an interest in the area himself he may well want to be contacted.

Tried to read bits of the OT once, but all the he begat him and he begat... just fried the brain. So the only bit I can quote is from pulp fiction, and thats not even used verbatim.

PS. That hair must get everywhere:p

You didn't try very hard, all the begats are on the first page! :p

EDIT: Wait, I must be thinking of the new testament. That has the geneology of Jesus.

Maybe, tis years ago, but it seemed to go on for miles, that plus the heavy language Im not used to made it hard going. Not going to take up theology any time soon.
