Windows 3.11 ghosting

    Ok guys I know Im going back in time here, but does anyone know can you ghost a windows 3.11 pc, Id imagine there would be now issue just interested, or would you need an old version of Ghost ??

    Format the new drive, with the same version of DOS
    SYS the drive and make sure it boots. ( Dos 7 (win9x) is setup to block win 3.11 - use the LOCK command it's microsoftese for "unlock the drive" )

    Then just copy the files accross.

    If you don't have the same video drivers then run setup in the windows folder and choose VGA until you do.

    yes you need a win 3.11 license for the other pc.

    it resides on a FAT partiton, so yes, you can ghost it.

    Thats what I though but needed to be sure I have just built a test box now with 3.11 I dunno how we ever used it man is Kak, but very stable Im sure :)
