BACKLASH // Old School Night 01

Its time for the night we've all been looking forward to since it was announced, Backlash's
first ever old school night.

Digging in the crates for us will be Funboi & Jon Averill, picking rave and acid house tracks
from 1985 - 1995 from Hardfloor, Altern8, Punchenella, Yello, Orbital, Jam & Spoon
808 State, Joey Beltram. System 7, LFO, Soundcrowd, KLF, Prodigy, The Shamen
and tonnes more tracks that have influenced them over the years.

So drape yourself in a tricolur, stock up on vicks and get down to Wax
This Thursday night.

Doors open at 11pm and admission as always is only 5eu
Patrons are advised to bring their own glo-sticks.

Next Week: The Last Backlash At Wax.
Following week: Backlash in our brand new venue.

This still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end - what a tune!!

These Thursday nite Rave ups are not good for your bank balance,pulled another sicky in work today couldn't get out of the bed this morning nah seriously a great nite was had @ Backlash last nite,some excellent tunage being rinsed out and a nice crowd as well,great to catch up with CT Rob again and Frank Simmonsen as well i took a few videos and a few photos ill upload them over the weekends,respect to the Backlash crew for a good nite

What a track that was back in the day. Thankfully I was able to get a proper version of the track on the old React Test Sampler cd's. Still play it to this day !
