    Hi,
I recorded a clip with my iRiver and I put the mic a bit too low. You can hear it clearly, but it's just far too low, full volume you have to be in utter silence and you can barely make out what's being said.

What's the best way to increase the volume on the actual file so I don't have to put it up full volume each time I want to listen to it?

    Any feedback appreciated:)

i second that!! mp3gain is a really neat s/w to change the volume of your mp3. i used it to normalise all my mp3's to 95db, so no need to decrease/increase the volume on a particular track/album
