    Hi Guys,

I was just wondering what is the best way to do situps or should I be doing crunches?

Also how long is it advisable to leave having breakfast in the morning - an hour maybe two etc?

    PDD

i would personally avoid situps. Crunches target the abdominal muscles more directly and prevent lower back strain when performed correctly.

As for leaving breakfast in the morning, what are you targets? are you trying to loose/gain weight? personally i would eat a protein source as quickly as possible to ensure positive nitrogen balance, as amino acid levels will be low after sleeping.

The objective is to loose weight so the plan was to get into work 20/30mins early, do a quick 2mile walk around the business campus ever morning, clock in and then have a breakfast about a half hour later - this would mean I would eat roughly 60/75mins after waking up. Breakfast would be a small bowl of porridge mixed with some freshly chopped fruit and a slice of brown bread for fibre.
