Right, well I did my usual walk round the park this lunchtime.... recently they have added some nice streetlighting to make the park safer in the evenings etc... Last week I saw 2 guys painting all the lights a nice clean white colour... Then today as I walk past them I notice almost every single lamppost now has *insert skanger bítch name here* LUVS *insert skanger bloke name here* with all these fúcking lovehearts all over the place... Do these people walk around the place with big thick black markers ready to deface anything new that or that might actually look nice. There must be over 30 lights now littered with some skangerglyphics... Jasus I'd love to catch them and give em a hiding, fúcking retards....

I live in a third story flat in Kimmage & had two windows broken over the weekend (By the unsocialable neighbours kids no doubt). I have double glazed windows and they holes on the outter pain look like very large pellets (I cant see them being stones) My neighbour got it worse with 5 on there two windows. Ok I rent the apartment but still.....what sort of scum bag society are we living in. :mad:

If you want to study skanger trash in their natural environment, then get your cameras and come out to Leixlip, its full of them. They vandalise everything they can get their hands on, throw litter on the streets, the place is like a land fill with all the beer cans, chip bags and just basic rubbish lying everywhere. Now don't get me wrong its a lovely town full of history, but unfortunately the tracksuit wearing trash are multiplying at an unbelievable rate and have pretty much taken over the town. If your bored on a Saturday night just go down to the chipper at 3am and watch them kick the piss out of each other after they have chewed on a snack box. Why are scumbags attracted to glass ? you can always judge how scummy a place is by how much vandalism there is, and in Leixlip they have this thing about windows, they are always breaking them. As one long time resident said to me at the weekend "its a beautiful place but its full of scumbags, and I have to move away before my son hits his teens and turns into one too"

Has anyone seen that Chavs documentary presented by that reprehensible bitch Julie Burchill? She defends scumbags because they're working-class and salt-of-the-earth and middle-class people attack them etc, etc. No. It's because they're scumbags. Simple as that. Anyone familiar with the new apartments across the road from Collins Barracks in Cork? I lived there for four years and it was a lovely place to live until a whole bunch of skangers were set loose and trashed the place. Some cow who got a rent-free apartment in there decided to invite dozens and dozens of scumbags up for parties. She was in her late thirties/early forties. All her "mates" were under 16 and she gave them cans of Dutch and fags so they naturally thought she was the biz. Anyway, they destroyed the place with graffiti and rubbish. They trashed people's cars, ripped down drain pipes, climbed into gardens and on to roofs, pulled down satellite dishes, terrorised people's pets (two cats got doused in diesel and even though they didn't manage to set them alight, the poor things were so traumatised they had to be put down). And then they get stupid dumasses like Julie Burchill standing up for them!! As if they wouldn't piss in her petrol tank if they got the chance.

Was this out in Deansgrange? Just saw all that graffiti today too. It pissed me off until I saw that someone had inventively graffitied the white line in the middle of the path near the SuperValu. Thought that was pretty original - although I'd hate to be Emma (apparently she's a fat slag)

I have actually witnessed several young hooligans whipping giant permanent markers out of otherwise empty pockets at various opportune moments. It seems they do carry them around in case a convenient situation presents itself.

What the hell is happening to this country with the unbelievabe amount of scangers. Thye are everywhere, every samll town and village in the counrty, its not just Dublin and surrounding areas. I live in a small town and the place is littered with them. Its just seems that in todays world, once a boy gets to about 12 or 13, he becomes a scanger, its just the 'cool' thing to do. What kind of a society do we live in? The discipline in this country has gone to the dogs, parents are too busy to discipline their children. I think tis only going to get worse, this country is getting more violent by the day, in 20 years the scangers will be the majority.

Its always been that way,we just use different terms now,today its scangers,when i was growing up it was referred to as having a bad name

I totally agree with CoolCiaran, the youth of today have no respect (having said that ) there are some lovely well mannered teenagers that I know, but last week I had an experience with a potential skanger.
Two youths were walking by my cottage on a canal bank when one of them decides to attack by throwing a stone at my window. I was standing in my lounge and saw him throw this stone , luckily it hit the frame and the glass did not get broken.
What is their problem?
I live there and I am no threat to him or his family so why attack me.
