eBay Desktops

Anyone ever bought a desktop over eBay?

I've bought loads of stuff, but am dubious about whole computers.
German eBay seems to offer great deals...

See this (ignore the garish box!)

They have an actual online store too so they seem kosher.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience etc.
    :)

I guess it's a case of weighing up the risks versus the benefits - like most things on eBay. I recently bought a computer for a family member from an eBay seller, and so far it's been pretty much problem free and runs as expected...

Well, yesterday I bought a refurbished Compaq EVO for about €210 inc. P&P.
(P4, 512ram, burner etc.) Asked the sellor to hang on to the CRT monitor as it wasn't worth the postage.

Will drop a note to say how it works out. [fingers crossed]
