    I would probably raise to $30. If he has AK or better he will probably pay you off; if he doesn't, he won't. If you have no read, you have to assume he can't have two small diamonds (you have the Ad) and won't keep firing away with something like QQ here.

    I don't like the raise to $20: first, if you make a habit of doing this with your monster hands you become easy to read. Secondly, if you make it $30 or even $25, and his hand is good enough to call you, he will have trouble folding on the turn.
