Just about to buy Birkenstocks from Germany, but thought I'd check first- Whats the deal with sizing? Are Narrow very narrow, would I be safe going for regular width. And is it true that you're supposed to buy a size smaller than usual? Am going for the Boston clogs. Am pregnant and need comfy shoes - swollen ankles, back ache etc. If anyone knows any websites with good deals let me know. am currently paying 80 euros, inc. delivery which seems standard.....

    Cheers

I would just try them on in town first, find out the right size and width and then buy them online.

Too lazy to go to town....I just want the easy way out really, one click and they will be delivered to my door.

No way I'd buy them without trying them on. I have three different pairs of birks and they are all different sizes. How much are they online?

80 Euros including delivery for Brown Leather Boston Clog type. Arizonas are cheaper, around 50 Euros. You're probably right, I should go into town. There is a shop on Wicklow Street, right? i know Schuh in Dundrum sell some, that would be closer for me, but according to their website they only have sandal types. Pity, cause Dundrum would be closer, I'm in Wicklow. Gawd the thoughts of going to town though, I'm 7 months pregnant and its not very comfortable....

That seems like a good price for Arizonas. Schuh do sell mainly the popular ones. The shop on wicklow street has a really good selection. It's just down near to the back of Brown Thomas
