PCWorld have a packard bell one (actually made by Seagate) for 219 at the moment. Also a 400gb.

Went in to see if I could snag one of these...none, but I got a 320gb toshiba for €170 which I thought was good value, 'specially for PC world.
I'll buy a lower capacity NAS one in a few weeks and hook this on the back of it, but at least I can back up my stuff for now.

PCWorld Airside had HP 400GB hard-drives for €220 last week . May still be there.

Very, very quiet and great value. My only problem with it is a blue LED on the front that's as bright as the LED torches you get on mobiles. I cut out a little circle of silver duct tape and stuck it over it; you can still see the glow but it's not blinding like it was...this is apparently something that Toshiba do on a lot of their products for some odd reason.

Thanks for info. If a too bright LED is the biggest gripe, then that sounds good enough ;)

I picked up the Packard Bell one in PCWorld today and I'm very happy with it. 400Gig for €240 and external! too good a deal to miss.
Drive info for those interested can be found here
