I've read in IT that he's doing 2 gigs in Dublin on Tuesday and Wednesday. Does anyone know where they're on as they're not listed on ticketmaster?

They didn't go through ticketmaster, they were tickets.ie gigs and they sold out instantly. Both nights are in Whelans.

They werent on sale online anywhere. The only way to get tickets was through the wav ticket box. It sold out in the space of three weeks or so (there was only one night originally) which is still impressive for something barely advertised and with tickets not available online.

The Final Fantasy gig is the exact same btw... tickets only through wav. It seems to be the way Foggy Notions does its stuff.

Road records on Fade Street and City Discs in temple bar also sold tickets for the gig. Looking forward to it:rolleyes:

I thought the first night sold out really quickly online and they didn't put up the second night. That doesn't make sense now that I think about it so perhaps I'm wrong. The take home point is that it is sold out.

It was a really good concert you are in for a good night,He played on the extreme right of the stage so make sure you get a good spot the venue was really jammed last night the support act played as his baCKING BAND, HE PLAYED FOR TWO HOURS ENDING WITH "i SEE A DARKNESS" just at 11.30pm, afterwards he signed tickets etc in the main bar.

Yeah, one of the highlights of the year for me so it was.

Problem was, I was up on the balcony on the right! Only way i could see him was by leaning over the crowd. Make sure you stay to the left side of the balcony if youre upstairs!

    Got a wee signature too!

Wish i'd read this before last night! was on the balcony on the right so could only catch glimpses of the man. Overal it was a great gig, but at times for me the backing singers overdone it and took from the performance. They really grated on me at times. What songs did he playin the encore again?

Yup was a good show but I didnt mind the backing band at all.. actually I quite liked them.

Encore was that Palace song that The Frames always cover. Cant remember the name. Edit: it was New Partner. Ended with I see a darkness.
