On chorus anologue cable service in Ashbourne Co.Meath at the moment and dont realy want an ariel on the roof so rang them up to see when digital will be available via cable. They told me they dont know(no surprise there), so rang comreg to ask them do they(chorus) have a time frame under their license to supply me with digital.Comreg informed me because of an Eu directive chorus/ntl and the like are no longer regulated by comreg or any other Irish body and are free to do what they like. Is this true:eek:

Ya it's true they no longer regulate cable companies (not that they regulate anything very well).
Try ringing chorus again. I was told that I would need to have a rooftop aerial for digital but when I rang to order they said it would be cable.
