What exams are there in different countries like the j cert?

    Just wondering about this. Different countries have different exam procedures.Post your thoughts in.

    I'm not sure about any of this.
    But.. I think, France has the Brevet, which is approximately a bit higher standard than the JC...
    And in German I think they've got exams at the end of every year which dictates what they do the next year.

    And that's all I know. England has the GCSEs which are.. possibly higher than the JC? Dunno.

    The GCSEs are in 5th year (year 12) which is the UK's equivalent of our 4th year.

    like PFM said, France has the Brevet and Germany tests at the end of every year.

    I heard A Levels = Honours LC, O Levels = Ordinary LC?
