    i would say the fiestas and the granada estate were in every day use...the MG and the Capri were visitors and there was a funeral on......just co-incidence I think.....

    Mulinahone is old Ford city! Its not far from a huge breakers yard which may explain the preponderence of old cars in that area.

    Great photos, original Irish regs on the Fiestas and Granadas too! For me the best pics are the ones of the dirty Granada estate and the Fiestas. Seeing cars like these in an everyday Irish street scene in the year 2006 is obviously highly unusual.

    The MG, Capri and Granada funeral cars could actually be more common sights as the MG and Capri have been enthusiasts cars for longer than the other cars (therefore more likely to be cherished or restored) and some undertakers tend to hang on to their vehicles a long time

    There might be one but I was thinking of somewhere which is furthur from Mullinahone than I thought (having just consulted multimaps.com), its near Newmarket in South Kilkenny but I've forgotten the name of the place. Never been there myself.
