Hey

I ordered a machine of laptopsdirect.ie on weds 12th at around 1pm. Later on that day my flatmate took a call from laptopsdirect to say that the laptop would be delivered yesterday (thursday).

I stayed in all day ringing laptopsdirect multiple times and all I got was the automated message saying no new information. I hung on the line as instructed but every time they failed to answer the phone.

Initially I was really impressed that they were doing a overnight delivery for the standard charge. But after giving false information and they being incapable of being contacted by phone I'm pretty pissed off with them.

Now with it being good (bad!)friday I'm guessing that their couriers are not working. Anyone know who they use?

Is overnight delivery with them standard or did someone jump the gun ringing my house?

I'd be grateful to anyone with any knowledge about the company.

Well even though they have a .ie address, they ship from the UK, and the faq on their website says 5 working days to Ireland

update just been holding on the phone for two hours and still didnt get to speak to a human. I'm getting the sinking feeling that I'm really going to regret placing the order with them.

I would not recommend these guys. Spent twenty minutes on phone tying to locate order, which was "lost". Unhelpful staff.
