Can pre nupital agreements be enforced as a contract between 2 parties?

I don't think so in this country. It would be pre-emptively voiding the marriage contract if they were, so I reckon that would bar it. If not, there might be some sort of contitutional challenge to them.

Personally, I think they're stupid, but I have a traditionalist view of marriage.

I am asking because I have one between myself and the mrs. The solicitor that drew it up said that a court would have to acknowledge it if there ever was a divorce. He also said it could be enforced under contract law.
