There is a one owner 01 Almera saloon 1.5 38k miles at a usedcar dealer in Cork City. The price is €8500,but I think €7500 would be a fair price. How much can you negotiate from this?

Its impossible to say - it really depends on what the car is costing the dealer. Do your best but there will be a point where it will not be profitabe for him to sell it.

€7,500 seems do-able, Almeras aren't exactly scarce. make sure you get a real warranty

Depends on how the dealer works, he could price the car high so he is seen to give good cash discounts or high trade-in value. He could also price the car at his cash price, as said depends on what its costing him.

offer €7k as a cash price, work from there, if the dealer pushes the proice up then get extras if there not on the car, new mats, tank of petrol, road tax...............etc anything which you would need to spend after actually buying try get for nothing

if you end up paying full price you shoudl save elsewhere
