Anyone heading to this? I'll be popping along myself. Haven't been to the SE in ages. Everytime I've played this tourney I've come at least 3rd* so I expect nothing less! :)

*I've only played this tourney once though

I'm playing, no poker since Sat night so I'm gagging for it! The lovely Eastern European girls only increase my gagging for it-ness :)

I might go along for my first visit to the emporium since Jan 5th..... Like Cardshark I have an exceptional record at the Emporium this year. Average position of 4th.

So did we have a boards winner?

Who's going into the 50 tonight?

Yes I think The C Kid won it. I managed to crash out in 11th after throwing a nice stack away in two hands. Cash game went ok, I ended the day in slight (very slight) profit.

No I finished second. Very disappointing as the final table was of possibly the worst quality you could imagine, everyone just seemed to want to donate. Think I was probably a bit tired heads up but turned down a 50/50 split as deals suck.

Highlight of the evening was sitting next to Fuzzbox at my initial table, only Gigabet and Hectorjelly to meet now on my list of mysterious online poker forum enigmas:)

So it was fuzzbox? Damn. Now I know who fuzz is anyway so if I'm ever at his table again I will make sure to steer clear of any pots involving him.:)

Cool, a fuzzbox sighting! I had my digital camera with me, if only I knew! :) I was one table 4 then table 2 after table 4 was broken up. Was knocked out in 18th or so, just after table 3 was broken up, ran my A10 into AA and 99 while shortstacked. Nice turnout yesterday, 5 tables, hopefully with the mid-week football over for the minute we'll see similar numbers in the future. Terrible play as usual, really awful...there is one elderly player who is a member of the 'poker is only a bit of gambling' society who check-reraised all in TWICE in ten minutes with middle pair, K kicker, and both times rivered a huge pot. He was gone soon after, but just to those who say players like this never consistantly make the final table - he almost always makes it to the money!

    I'll probably play tonight.

I had the same pleasure a few weeks back when i realised the rock to my right was the international man of mystery himself :p

Paul - you still owe me loads of money from our 'last shortest' bet at the break which I easily won. Standard at my table was at times atrocious, typified by the time that ocallagh was reraised all in by KJo when he held KK. Of course the KK failed to hold up.

DocO the dealer was in flying hand-cracking form last night. No one played with me when I had a hand though so no cracking opportunities.

Well Done C Kid, 2 good finishes in 2 nights even if you didnt quite achieve what you had hoped.

Let me guess. Was it Chief Brody?

Lol. He was on my table. Reraised me at one stage when he had second pair and I stupidly checked my missed draw down oop. I had never played with him before. Sad thing was that there were worse players at my table than him!!!

Does he wear glasses and often wears a red jumper? Seeing him at a final when I've been busted out depresses me.

Seeing him walk towards my cash table with 100 bananas makes me happy ;)

Edit: Just saw roudners pic. i think we're talking about the same guy!

My god he loves his second pair! Always re-raises with it, as it is the nuts after all :)
