there is a possibility this event will be cancelled at the last minute if the pitch is waterlogged...I will know before hand as im (just) in the loop so to speak. If anyone wants to check with me before setting out 087 6781685 is the number. good show usually, worth suffering a little for....(too many tractor seats and stationerys though :( ..

Alternative, to which Im sure you will all be welcome is the Charleville Vintage club run....starts about 11 am i think.....

If anyone's taking some picture's of the show , could they possibly take one or two for me of the stationary engine line-up (anything that looks out of the ordinary !)

As i might take the trip down from dublin next year .
Hope everyone going has a good show , and you's get decent weather :)

    Thanks in Advance,
    John

Its always hard to find a good venue for these types of shows. Pity. Hope you enjoyed it Corktina. Too far for me to go to!

difficult indeed. However this one occupied one corner of a vast field and half the room was taken up by an arena for the agricultural type exhibits which was not at all full whilst the cars were jammed in and overflowing to side.......just the same layout as last year........

And don't forget the pungent aroma of sheep sh*t, the residents of the field for the other 364 days of the year:D and a word to the organisers, 8 euros in and you only hire one portaloo?

yeah...them sheep were a bit poorly too i reckon judging by the evidence i scrapped off me boots......no Fiat with you blue 850? didnt see you......

Decided to go at 8.30 sunday morning, bit of a challenge for the 850,brakes have developed a mind of their own, so brought trusty Vectra TD, hence 8 euros in. Saw 230,000 on the clock on the way back , just about run in now;)
