    Hey,

Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes...

Anyone know of any wholesalers who sell household electrical appliances such as washing machines, fridges and the likes?

Anywhere in the Cork - Waterford - Wexford - Dublin area?

    Thanks!

I would tread carefully, the big retailers have really knocked all the margin out of the white goods business. You'll probably find a wholesaler alright, but it probably won't be all that much cheaper than just buying in power city. There is a UK site (www.whitegoods.co.uk i think) that might be a good place to find out more.

There's a couple of places in the Robinhood estate but it's really only mickey mouse brands and your better off buying from the bigger shops or going direct to the manufacturer.

I buy my wholesale white goods and electrical apps at Charlie Shiels in inchicore.

Tbh its not a whole lot cheaper than retail but that business seems to be about quantity sales rather than high margins. I did approach the suppliers directly before whirlpool, dimplex etc and they will sell to you but it isnt significantly cheaper than buying in a wholesalers and generally your credit terms will be worse etc. That said Im sure it all depends on the quantity your purchasing.
