Bored so your top map and why.

Could only put in 10 options so put the top 9 most played in my list and an other option. If other state it.

Got to say i love the city maps, karkand, sharqui and mashtuur, 60% of my playtime. I love the planes, love to fly them but would rather be a ground pounder, running around the city, lots of place to hide and ambush. Sharqui i love it, i could spend all day on the TOW's picking off, APC's and jeeps coming across the bridge. Basically its a great map for all classes, you can play any class there and have a good round. The bottleneck in karkand is its best and worst aspect. Mashtuur has really improved too ever since they neutered the yanks blackhawk, much more even. anyway sharqui all the way.

Love Mashtuur, its a pity about the blackhawk though...I also like Karkand, Op. Smokescreen, Sharqi and Wake Island, but Mashtuur is my fav, great for sniping too.

i always change my mind. bf2s says i love wake island 2007 more then anything, but i do enjoy karkland, dragon valley and fushe pass

Well I went for Karky like most. I like all city maps. When I join a random server in the server browser i look for karky with the lowest ping and join.

Also my fav non city map is op smoke screen for EF. All those tanks its the best level of the lot for tank battles. Its like watching sky news some of the time there are that many big tank convoys.

Strike at Karkand

Besides the cities, songhua Stalemate can be a great map apart from the annoying fog. waters great for hiding mines and C4.

EF does have normal rotation, and the problem with SF is that it uses the engine slightly differently to allow for grapple hooks etc. it also has to load all the extra vehicles and skins into your system at the start... and bf2 alone is laborious for the best of computers out there as it is
