Boss 10 track CD write problem

Can anyone shed any light on this for me? It's a Boss BR1180 with a built in CD writer. It's throwing up CD Write error everytime I go to put the track onto CD. It happens all the time with various brands of CD Rs. It did it the odd time then gradually more frequently and now won't work at all. Could it be dust? Would a CD…

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Could it be dust? Would a CD drive cleaner CD work? It does play CDs ok though so not sure about that?

Should I just take it out to Roland repair in Ballymount?
