is this the worst structure ever?

    Playing my usual friendly game last night i was shocked when the blinds went up and antes were introduced as it left me extremely f*cked with the size of my stack and being in the BB next. Is it only me or is this structure ridiculusly bad?He said he has to make the blinds like this in order to get this finished although there has never been a problem with finishing late before

    It's 20 entry with 3 15 rebuy's and a 20 top-up.2k starting stacks with 4k top-up.

    25-50
    50-100
    100-200
    200-400
    300-600

    Break 20 mins but the clock was stopped for 6 minutes after the 20 were up while they allowed every1 to saunter on back to their tables while the rest of us waited. surely if they want to get it finished earlier a ten minute break would help.

    400-800
    500-1000
    600-1200
    800-1600

    end of 15 min blinds

    10 minutes from here out, getting about 3 hands played a level

    1000-2000 introduced ante's of 100
    2000-4000 ante of 500
    3000-6000 500
    4000-8000 ante up to 1000
    5000-10000 1000
    6000-12000 2000

    Needless to say that was the last week a load of us will be playing.

    Is this the most ridiculus structure you's have ever seen?

    I guess this was held in a pub?

    They only have 4 hours to get the game over in, so I dont know why it supprises you, its a very poor structure and lets people get lucky more than reward good play.

    I wouldn't part with my money for that rubbish.

    I think i played in the absolute worst game i've ever witnessed last night.

    Pub game STT or so ppl thought thats wat they were playing.Basically you pay 20 euro and receive 20 blue chips all worth the same value and blinds start at 1-2!! 7 of us sat down and played. Blinds go up every time 2 players gets knocked out so 2-4 3-6 e.t.c

    I chopped first for €70 each as pub was closing after a crazy hour long heads up battle.But this is how its always played apparently.

    Quote of the night has to be....I had to call your pocket 8's with 56os as it was 50-50.....The guy sacrificed his whole stack with it! Naturally he didnt improve
