    Telecoms Engineer
    =================

    Description

    Voxpilot is looking for a talented, motivated telecoms engineer to join a cutting edge telecoms
    software technology company in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic
    company at the forefront of voice-over-IP, 3G, and traditional telecoms.

    Responsibilities
    - Troubleshooting of circuit switched and packet switch telecoms issues
    - Qualification and interworking of 3rd party network equipment with Voxpilot software products
    - Assisting technical sales with telecoms and VoIP solutions
    - Validation of new releases of Voxpilot software products
    - Customer installations
    - Technical training

    Requirements

    "Must have":

    - 4+ years industry experience
    - Bachelors degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
    - Good working knowledge of ISDN and ISUP
    - Experience with VoIP technologies especially SIP/RTP
    - Outstanding troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools such as protocol analysers
    - Excellent working knowledge of Windows and Linux
    - Pre-sales and support customer-facing experience

    "Nice to have":

    - Experience with computer telephony / IVR (e.g. exposure to NMS, Dialogic, or Aculab)
    - Ideally have exposure to Cisco IOS, IP switch configuration, and media gateway configuration
    - Experience with speech recognition technologies (Nuance/Scansoft)
    - Scripting knowledge
