I reckon your near enough better to plan a 5 day holiday to NY and stock up on some gear from there to be honest or order loads from there site for you and your mates and split the delivery! Nice gear.

I think there is a franchise in Roches or at least the expansion of Arnotts will bring it in. THey are in Portugal and Italy ASFAIK so I think they are out of the US. Not worth the money if you ask me

Funny that somebody so "new" to the site would know that...

OP: There's nowhere you can buy it in Ireland at the moment, you could try ebay stores though as some sellers in the UK and other parts of Europe have some afaik, you'd probably save on shipping that way too.

Abercrombies shipping costs can be expensive but it's extremely quick, it's $50 for items totalling $200 but rises as the cost of your items (in total) does. See here for details.

And don't forget the customs charge on top of that, which Fedex will aggressively pursue you for.

I've yet to be charged once by customs, and I've been ordering off them for around two years now.

    Maybe I'm just lucky...

Seems so. I was charged every time without fail and when I tried to ignore the first one, as it took me completely by surprise, it became a solitors letter.

I think you are the exception rather than the rule, as most people have referred to the duty charges if they ordered via the site.

Why would anyone want to be seen in Abercrombie and Fitch gear in the first place? It's the badge of the spoilt brat all over the country.

This is true. Also, if you know someone in NY you could send them cash to pick up what ya want and then have it shipped and labelled as a gift to dodge customs tax.
Or if you know someone going over you could give them money to pick it up.

Apart from the D4 ponsey label they seem to be branded with, some of their jeans aint that bad, I like the baggy fit myself and saw some on Ebay with sizes that suit me down to the ground based on other jeans I have so I may end up buying a pair, loike totally, roish. If I can find a cheapo bargain pair that is, not like I'm going to pay any more for a labeled pair of jeans than I would a non labeled pair;)

Not just NY. There are A & F stores all over the place. There is one just down the road from me in a mall.

I hope you don't actually think thats the real deal cos i did the same at christmass and although it has all the proper tags im very sure it wasn't authentic

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,844 ✭✭✭✭cormie

yeah, I saw negative feedback saying they aren't authentic, I don't care, I'm after the style and fit, not the label;)

oh they do fit nicely... i got jeans so when I tell people their abercrombie people are well impressed cos everyone only seems to wear the tops with A&F plasered on it. But having abercrombie is way more impressive
