As you may be aware, the Republic of Loose have just released their second album 'Aaagh!' independently. (i.e. they don't have the backing & financial support of a big record label).

What you may not be aware of is that currently the album is number 2 on the mid-week album chart, behind a Christy Moore live album. This is a tremendous achievement for an unsigned act, but if they are to have any chance of toppling Christy from the top spot (or even to retain the no.2 spot by the official chart on Thursday), it's got to happen this week.

What does this mean? Well quite simply it means if you have any interest in purchasing this album, DO IT TODAY! (or at least before Wednesday evening when the charts are collated this week.)

    Thanks for listening,

I'm not sure but I think Carlow has been cancelled / postponed.

Thomastown is only a stones throw from there though. Ed Murphys is a great venue!

Album definitely gets better and better on repeated listens. Have a feeling "Somebody Screamed" will be released as a single. If it isn't, it should be!

yeah a brilliant album. the intro is brilliant. funny how nearly all agree it gets better with more listens.

anyone know where i'd (we'd) get lyrics to the tunes. it might be a bit soon. i can't access their site in work. our net nanny system won't allow it. dunno why.
