I am looking for some suggestions for good accommadation in Alvor. I am hoping to head here for a week at the beginning of August. I will be travelling with my wife and two young kids. Ideally we are looking for somewhere in the center of Alvor.

This will be our fifth time heading to Portugal, but our first time heading to Alvor. As I have done in the past, I will be booking this direct.

The one that springs to mind is the Alvorferias - it's a large low-rise complex and is very family-friendly. The apartments themselves are larger than normal & I believe they're getting a/c & satellite TV this year
