Which Bag This Summer?

So i randomly found myself wandering around Brown Thomas over the weekend and got lost in the handbag department (my heaven!) and have to say that some of the designers have just gone pants.

Fendi have some odd odd looking bags with oversized buckles, dior- well they had nothing worth looking at, Chloe- the usual style, Balenciaga- the usual, DKNY had one or two nice ones, also Jimmy Choo, Prada was boring as usual, same with Chanel.

The only thing that really caught my eye was Gucci- and so i spent a fortune there. :D
So does anyone agree with me that the designers havent quite pushed themselves for the new season? and if not, which designer gets u goin this summer:confused:

Don't want to sound nerdy, but I do own a laptop and haul it around frequently. The designers have finally produced something in this area. You can now toss your masculine/utilitarian laptop case for something that is chic and looks like a large purse. Some look very stylish. Of course, this could get very pricey if you accessorize, wanting a different laptop purse to go with each outfit!

    Get a Lush one instead.

They're very 'inspired' by the real thing but aren't counterfeit and are good quality so I'm told.

Oh, that site has some great looking bags! And far better value than Brown Thomas, considering most of them (designer or otherwise) come from Asia regardless of price

Try Harvey Nichols they have some really nice Juicy Couture + DKNY bags this season + Stella McCartney have amazing bags for the Summer if you can find them!

I find the obsessive logoing on DKNY bags very off-putting tbh, and the prices Juicy charge for terry-type material bags is ridiculous! The Ltd Collection in M+S or other shops often have lovely leather bags for well under €100. If you're spending that much money, the least you should be able to expect is good material.
