Ehh like the thread name says, what deos FTW mean? While I'm here and on a role what is a troll? But mainly what deos FTW stand for? I figured out what ROFL and LOL and BTW and TBH and FWI means but for some reason I just can't match FTW up with anything. Now I'm sure there is goin to be lots of really hilarious people…

Ehh like the thread name says, what deos FTW mean? While I'm here and on a role what is a troll? But mainly what deos FTW stand for? I figured out what ROFL and LOL and BTW and TBH and FWI means but for some reason I just can't match FTW up with anything. Now I'm sure there is goin to be lots of really hilarious people telling me fake things what FTW stands for and laughing into their packets of cheesy popcorn while taping up thier broken glasses and reading the 'No New Messages' message on thier phones but I would just like to know what it means in the sense that people keep posting it on here please. OK tnx a million. Slipss.

As for a troll. A troll is someone who trolls through the posts and adds dopey/pointless posts or posts that they know are going to cause **** for no real good reason.

I think troll comes from the type of fishing, trolling. This basically involves towing bait through random bits of water hoping something will bite. This then equates to someone posting controversial statements (the bait) in random threads (the water) hoping someone(the fish) will start argueing with them (biting). Or maybe it's just because they're all ugly angry little f**kers.

Shorthand for For The Win, FTW is often using in gaming and gaming related definitions to indicate a user's win.
