    Hi folks,

I'm currently furniture shopping for my new house, and I'm looking for good deals on white goods bundles. I'm looking for:

    Washing Machine/Dryer (single unit)
    Dish Washer
    Hob/Extractor
    Oven
    Fridge/Freezer (single unit)

Any tipoffs on good deals would be much appreciated....
    Thanks in advance. :)

I know Power City give a "bulk" discount on a large order.
Trade off DID against Power City, probably no point in trying Currys as I'm sure they wouldn't be up to giving discounts.

Bosch are good value and good quality for all the above.

    I make it c

    €450 + €350 + €200 + €300(single oven you never said) + €600 for all that . All A rated or AA rated . No more than €2k .

avoid currys like the pox , also ring up galway dudes like peter murphy electric , n17 and cuniffe for quotes

DID and Power City seem to be the same price for same goods, maybe €5 more in DID, Don't know about Currys but was in Harvey Norman a few weeks back and their prices seems quite a bit higher than DID/Power city.

Power City Tallaght seems to have the best selection of everything I've come across.

Don't know what your looking for but i got a nice electrolux Hob(Ceramic) and matching Single Oven for €660 in DID

also you just missed out, DID had a 5% sale yesterday, I booked everything paided a deposit and can pay the balance when i need the good, It ended up that I got the Fan free with the discount.

when I was getting this lot I did the usual Power City, DID, Currys etc, we ended up settling on different makes for each unit and Currys were the only shop to stock all items and I wanted a one stop shop, so went for currys who also matched all the other shops "discounted" prices

I got a catalog in the letterbox the other day from one of the 'Expert' group of retailers and I recall seeing a bundle like you mentioned at a good price.
Don't remember the details as I only glanced through it.Might be worth checking

Just got everything you mentioned and a Vacuum Cleaner, it was €1800, and I went for middle of the road stuff, not all cheap rubbish, all AA rated bar the Washer/Dryer which I think is B, dont think its possible to get A in a dryer (could be wrong tho). Remember with the Washer/Dryer to get 5KG wash and dry with the option to run straight into a dry. Hotpoint do one that dries every bit as good as a standalone drier. Jaysus, I sound like a woman!! :p

Really, Really, Really, check out the www.Trade-Appliances.Co.UK site first. You won't be disappointed ! As previously explained, you will save a load of cash and the quality of the appliances will be higher than you can buy in M.Mouse-City etc.... All European guarantees are valid, pallet delivery 92 pounds UK but delivered to me within a week. I saved over 40% buying from them and it was totally hassle free.

    Fatboy.

You on commission or what!? :)

Had a look at the site and most of the prices that I checked are higher than the ones I've got from shops over here.

Nope, not on commission. The price you see on the site is not always the price you pay, additionally, try sourcing BOSCH, SMEG, AEG, NEF etc here then look at the price comparison. For example when I was sourcing my appliances there was no way I could get a bosch large fridge freezer for under 600 Euro (I did with this site) so perhaps its only the higher brands but I don't think they're so favourable at least they weren't for me.

Added to which when I was talking with the rep she managed to get even more knocked off the prices than originally quoted.

As a final large example I tried sourcing my Smeg A2 cooker here. The best quote I got here was 3750 Euro. (http://www.trade-appliances.co.uk/_96_Smeg_A2-5.html).. working the exchange rate as of today this comes in in Euro at 2528.74 from this crowd.

What's that if its not a saving ???

    FBP.
