Not that cheap and more importantly Not HD Ready .
This is far too much money to spend on a screen that's not HD ready , in essence its obsolete , with Sky and most other suppliers going HD this year , the World cup is the BBC's first HD broadcast ,
No , I would stay well away from this.

anything under 34 " has no need for hd, you don't really get much of an improvement, only with 34 inch plus do you get any real benifits, so why waste money on a pointless feature

I have a 32" and I have ran HiDef (720p and 1080i) through it and you can definetly notice the difference, even to an untrained eye the difference is very obvious. Hardly a "pointless" feature.

1330 plus VAT. Anyone any experience or opinions on this model? Sounds like a bargain.......

I know someone that just bought a HiSense Plasma for €1299 inc VAT. It is a Samsung re-badged, and has smilar core specs to this one. It was Harvey Norman in Swords.
No, its not HD Ready, but HD Comp, and the picture was surprisingly good. They also had a HiSense HD Ready one for under 2K, about the money you mentioned above. Might be a better option. :D

Even a progressive scan DVD player gives a superior picture on these HD ready TVS , Ive seen this and its impressive enough , but HD content on the other hand is streets ahead , And I was looking at a Panasonic Viera 32" LCD TV , think it was a LX32D500 , available from komplett as well , at about 1999.00 euros.
The content was a lot of trailers , King Kong was one of em , it was amazing , and theres no way it was a subjective experience , you'd have to be blind not to notice , there was 9 of us in the room , and everyone thought it was brilliant.

Maybe a stupid question but how did you do this, a dvd with hd content?
