Not so much floating as hurtling.

Just as an explanation, there are (or were) 3,000 pigsback pigs in House 6. Following on from last year, there'll be an exams information campaign (organised by the SU) starting probably in week 3, giving hints on what to expect from College Exams and that lark (not hints on what will come up, however!). Plus, as John and Indy have said, there were some (ahem) incidents with pigs being 'hurtled' throughout college over the past few days, so some of you might have seen them.

By the way, I can't move in my office save for the smell and hitting into some pigs. They're fecking everywhere.

    They smell of acetone.

A friend of mine had one of them that he really liked. He left his table in college for a second (in UCD). When he came back all his friends were looking at him really strangely. When he sat down he realised they'd ripped the pigs head off for a laugh.

That's horrible. My girlfriend's flat-mate has one, and I'm always playing with it, when I'm in their place.

Forbidden pictures are always the most enticing.

    Heh.

I know you're not serious, but I love when people call the police pigs and actually mean it. I mean, yeah, goddamn those bastards for upholding the law. How unreasonable of them.

Muslims are forbidden to eat pork. So are Jews, I don't see the jewish community complaining. I mean it's not like they have no right to get offended or anything

I don't see how a cartoon pig is offensive but then again I'm offended by people being offended by everything. Ironic, isn't it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,983 ✭✭✭✭Hermione*

Those pictures are hilarious! :D I'd get so much more work done if I had a couple of those cuties sitting around my textbook, getting as bored me (I'm odd, I know :p )

I like the way that although my office is messy with papers, pigs and other items, you can still see a picture of David Hasselhoff in that pic.

Yes, and a pig abseiling down your notice-board.

Yes. Or what remains of a pig, he appears quite headless.

there was also ones on the windows in the staircase on the first floor, and one hanging from the security camera on 1st floor. and one on mannions door, a head peeping through the letterbox on stephs door, and one hanging from above donals door. and there was one temporarily gliding through the air from a window in house 6, but that was quickly rectified when gravity had its way.

The one at the Security Camera on the first floor is quite well stuck in there. Just as a bit of advise, the Pav don't seem to like pigs. Might be best not to bring them in...

I've just collected three pigs off the farmer in Nelson Mandela House! Woohoo!

I walked up to dónals office today to demand a pig. Unfortunately the door was closed and there was some form of note sayin he'd be back later. This was enough to scare me off, even from knocking. The fact I'd never been there before and being hung-over with john mannion staring me down didn't help.

There are plenty all around House 6 - over doors, on top of lights, hanging off steps etc. Plus I'll be giving them out from next week onwards, so if you see me, grab one.

Piggery might take a bit longer then planned, so it mightn't start until next week. However, several of the Student Services have now been pigged.

I'm not sure. I was hoping John2 could gain access to one of those uber-cold fridges in the Lloyd to freeze the feckers.

I also wish to launch one into the Campanile. The top of it, not the side.

Can I get a pig piggy pig pig pig too?

we could cobble together some form of catapultation device. You're an engineer and I have creative ideas........ it would definitely work. then we could launch some over house 3 at the provost!

I googled 'pig gun' and came up with this.

However, we need one of these.

I'm happy to report that my three pigs are happily thriving here in Trinity Hall. They're socialising well with the ducks.
