    Hey Falcon,

What are you willing to spend?

What size HDD are you looking for 80GB,160GB ...?
What other functions are you looking for DiVX, HDMI, other connections?

PIP: I thought Picture picture was a TV standard not for DVD's

    Can anyone out there clarify...

hey firstly thanks for responding!Had picture in picture on a Sanyo VHS which was handy function at times. It is available on some DVD recorders,Toshiba have it on a wx34 i think.Just wondered if anyone knew of its availability on other machines!
160 GB would be handy with a good range of connections for an average user!
What about compatability with High Definition? Is that a further standard upgrade for DVD recorders?

I got an LG RH-7900 in Komplett a few months ago, which is also available with HDMI. Has PIP too. I am very happy with it. Great editing functions and simple to use.
